Digipak: Examples- Adele 21

 the portrait of adele is incredibly emotive and captures a sense of passion and pain , it documents the beauty in emotion. This is enhanced by the use of a desaturated ( black ad white) image, this imediately gives an idication of nostalgia and therefore a theme of the past.

 The back cover is also quite emotive, after having looked at the front portrait to then see the rear portrait with her eyes open creates a connection between the viewer and the artist, by looking into the centre of the lense adele has made eye contact with whoever looks at the picture making an gesture of almost compassion and appreciation for having picked the CD up to check the track listing.

Today me and shelley are going to go and film in the wooded area of east brook end country park. we have been waiting for a day were it is cloudy and dull outside and today is that day. we have waiting for these weather conditions as the low light and the heavy clouds help to portray the sad elements of the song, and the inability to know whether it is about to rain demonstrates in relation to the music the uncertainty of the future.

In order to achieve a professional looking magazine advert, it is important that we conform to the general consensus of what should be included within a magazine advert by professional example. here is a short list of what should be included;

Magazine Advert

For our media product Shelley and I have to produce a magazine advert to go alongside our Digipak and Music Video. Magazine adverts come in many different sizes and formats but they generally adhere to the following specification;

• they include the bands name
• whatever the band is promoting, an album, tour, merchandise etc.
• a date when whatever is being advertised becomes available or/out now
• the record label
• any sponsors
• where tickets/albums/merchandise is available from
