Magazine advert: Past Students Work Analysis

Shelley and i decided to look at some work produced by past students in order to see what can be done and what we could try to change or alter when producing our own Magazine advert.


This looks to be quite a successful simple magazine advert. the simplistic design and composition, the artist is introduced in an intriguing format, as the audience can not see the whole image but jsut part of it through a tree cut out creating a sense of mystery drawing attention. however the poster does seem to be a little to similar to a film poster in terms of composition for my liking as it is  slightly confusing until you read the line 'includes the single shadows.' However the choice of color and the inclusion of a star rating seems to work well and is something me and shelley would like to include in our own Magazine advert.
